Yulia Almiron
Yulia Almiron Solano is the Co-Founder and a tennis coach at YUMA Tennis Academy. Originally from Spain, she competed at the national and international level, reaching a career-high Spanish ranking of No. 117 before playing NCAA Division I tennis in the United States.
She has over six years of coaching experience in Spain and the U.S., working with players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to nationally ranked juniors. Her coaching emphasizes strong fundamentals, footwork, strategy, discipline, and confidence.
Yulia holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Biochemistry, a minor in Business Administration, and is currently studying Accounting at Foothill College. As Co-Founder of YUMA Tennis Academy, she is dedicated to creating a positive and professional environment where every player can grow and reach their full potential.
Isaac Gutierrez
I started competing at 16 in the Mexico City circuit, quickly building experience and confidence on the court. After four years, I took my game to the next level by moving to the United States to study and compete at Foothill College, where I played my season and continued developing in a more competitive environment.
Mauricio Tellez
Mauricio is a tennis player who achieved a Top 20 national ranking in Mexico, with experience competing in European tournaments and serving as a sparring partner at the Mexican Open in Acapulco.

YUMA’s Four-Legged Team Member
Born on February 19, 2025, our adorable Maltipoo is one of YUMA Tennis Academy’s most cheerful team members. Friendly, playful, and always full of energy, she loves spending time around the tennis courts, meeting players, and keeping a ball close by.
Although she may not be ready to compete in tournaments yet, she brings smiles, positive energy, and plenty of encouragement to everyone at YUMA. Whether she is watching practice or relaxing on the sidelines, she is always happy to be part of the team.

Bryden F.
Bryden has been playing tennis since the age of 7. For him, tennis is a fun and meaningful sport that has greatly shaped his childhood. Although he does not compete in tournaments, he enjoys playing and connecting with different people on the court. During high school, he had the opportunity to represent his school and compete against a wide range of players. He is currently one of the captains of the varsity tennis team at Lynbrook High School.
